No Fair!

In a very special edition of the Audio Book Tour, youth from Camp Fire Columbia’s After School programming in Portland, Oregon discovers the book ‘No Fair!’ and ask questions to Author and Illustrator, Jacob Grant. Pablo and his dad are ready for a fun day together at the farmer’s market–what’s better than a bike ride, doughnuts, and hot apple cider? But Pablo’s dad says that everything Pablo picks out is too big for him. It’s just no fair! What if he was in charge and his dad was the kid, Pablo wonders. And his dad stops to think about it, too.

For this month’s special Audio Book Tour, ICAN partnered with Camp Fire Columbia to bring the Audio Book Tour into one of their After School Programs, at Sunnyside Environment School in Portland, Oregon.

The students got to read the book and come up ask questions to the Author and Illustrator, Jacob Grant. Students played games all about fairness, and even created some creative art based on the Book. At the end of our activities, we got to celebrate with donuts, just like the characters in the book.
